This material has a documented testing procedure that includes puncture, tear, seam strength, abrasion, wash, and colorfastness. The exterior, super high-density woven nylon 6, is tough as nails and features a microporous coating and non-porous film. The material and membrane have a waterproof rating of 20,000mm (JIS L1092 B) and a breathability rating of 2,000 g/m^2 (JIS L 1099B-1).

Waterproof Zipper Technology

The DB Zip Waders feature YKK zippers throughout. The main zipper is a waterproof, smooth, and functional YKK AQUASEAL®. The main zipper allows one to get them on and off quickly and easily, as well as making restroom stops much easier. The dual exterior chest pockets are oversized for even the biggest iPhones and other essentials. These pockets have water-resistant YKK AquaGuard® zippers to keep your valuables dry and secure.

Dry Pockets to Store Everything

Fleece-lined handwarmer pockets are designed to keep your hands warm during winter hunting season and double as convenient zippered storage for quick-access items like extra shotgun shells. These pockets are generously sized, providing ample room for your hands and essential items. Each upper pocket is strategically placed for comfortable hand resting, even in deeper water. While the AquaGuard zippers add water resistance, please note that these pockets are not fully waterproof, so items are best kept dry under normal conditions but may not remain entirely dry in submersion. Additional storage includes two interior pockets—one with a hidden magnetic closure and one with a vertical AquaGuard zipper—ideal for items like bottled water, licenses, hearing protection, or chapstick.

The ultralight 1200G 3M Thinsulate™ Insulated Boots are durable and warm, while the foam midsole and molded footbed will ensure you stay comfortable on those long days afoot. The soles feature a proprietary tread pattern to keep you stable while shedding even the thickest mud and muck. The built-in heel spur makes sliding the boots on and off an effortless task. These are built tough, with their multiple-layer build and added textured layer in the toe.

Shoulder Straps That Allow Flexibility

For ease of use and functionality, these hunting or fishing waders feature a no-buckle G-hook shoulder strap system. The shoulder straps on the DB Zip Waders have firmness to grip your shoulders and stay put, but enough built-in flexibility for you to remain agile and unrestricted in your movements.
