All components of the waterproof and breathable DB Zip Waders have been specified from top to bottom to ensure years of hard use while maintaining excellent mobility. These waders are packed with functional and practical features you’re guaranteed to love. The superior quality of these waders all starts with the Toray® FOUR-FLEX™ 4-layer upper and lower fabric. This material has a documented testing procedure that includes puncture, tear, seam strength, abrasion, wash, and colorfastness. The exterior, super high-density woven nylon 6, is tough as nails and features a microporous coating and non-porous film. The material and membrane have a waterproof rating of 20,000mm (JIS L1092 B) and a breathability rating of 2,000 g/m^2 (JIS L 1099B-1).
The DB Zip Waders feature YKK zippers throughout. The main zipper is a waterproof, smooth, and functional YKK AQUASEAL®. The main zipper allows one to get them on and off quickly and easily, as well as making restroom stops much easier. The dual exterior chest pockets are oversized for even the biggest iPhones and other essentials. These pockets have water-resistant YKK AquaGuard® zippers to keep your valuables dry and secure. Fleece-lined handwarmer pockets keep your hands warm on those chilly days and double as zippered storage for those items you need to access quickly, like extra shotgun shells. They are oversized, with plenty of room for your hands and other items. These upper pockets are strategically placed for you to rest your hands comfortably, even when hunting in deeper water, and when not in use, like the front pockets, your things will stay dry and secure with the AquaGuard zippers. Rounding out the storage on these waders are two interior storage pockets, one with a hidden magnetic closure and the other with a vertical AquaGuard zipper. These are great pockets for items such as bottled water, licenses, hearing protection, or chapstick.
The ultralight 1200G 3M Thinsulate™ Insulated Boots are durable and warm, while the foam midsole and molded footbed will ensure you stay comfortable on those long days afoot. The soles feature a proprietary tread pattern to keep you stable while shedding even the thickest mud and muck. The built-in heel spur makes sliding the boots on and off an effortless task. These are built tough, with their multiple-layer build and added textured layer in the toe.
For ease of use and functionality, these waders feature a no-buckle shoulder strap system. The shoulder straps on the DB Zip Waders have firmness to grip your shoulders and stay put, but enough built-in flexibility for you to remain agile and unrestricted in your movements. Their low-profile nature eliminates buckle interference when shouldering your shotgun.
Our adjustable waist belt features a high-quality Duraflex™ buckle that is built to last. This belt is firm enough for hanging carabiners or other attachments but has some elasticity to allow for mobility and easy adjusting for your preferred fit.
